The mid-day crowds in the dining rooms of the different branches (Sanlitun, Haidian, and The Place) attest to the popularity of this popular chain's lunchtime buffet. Choose from a selection of North and South Indian classics (tandoori meats, shahi korma, curries, lamb saagwala, aloo mutter, chana masala etc.) and enjoy fresh naan bread and imported Kingfisher beer. User reviews of Ganges Indian Restaurant 恒河印度餐廳
This was a super surprise. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and there was this Buffet @rmb 60 for students and rmb 70 for others. There was some of my favourites like hot and sour soup, dahi wadas, chicken tikka, lamb biryani, yellow dal fry and some vegetable curries, chicken kadhai and custard with fruits as dessets. The manager was friendly to work out garlic nan which was my favourite. He said the buffet started about 2 weeks ago and is open monday to sunday (open on saturday and sunday too ).
快3开奖结果查询Looks this will be favourite destination once a week atleast.
快3开奖结果查询As an expat living and working in Beijing, Ganges Indian Restaurant is my first choice for authentic, freshly prepared, well priced and delicious Indian food served by the most courteous, friendly and caring staff. Special mention must be made about Service, especially Mark whose attention to detail, knowledge about Indian food and it's preparation and professional manner makes for that wonderful "at home" feeling! An extensive menu that will certainly appeal to all tastes. Absolutely love this place!
快3开奖结果查询I can happily say that that Ganges is back to it's best. My wife and I ordered our usual, Lamb saagwahla and chicken dupiaza with the jeera rice and a garlic naan. The Lamb saag is to die for, succulent lamb and smooth tasty spinach. Chicken dupiaza was sweet from the onions with a good spicy treat from the other ingredients. Overall I can say that this was one of the best curries i've had in a long time. Ive eaten a lot of curry in the UK namely Bradford were most of the worlds best curry restaurants are actually found.
Ganges are great!
One of the worst Indian restaurants I have ever been to. They have very few spices and just load up a ton of cream into their dishes. Their vegetable korma tastes like clam chowder, except clam chowder has salt and spices.
Many times I've heard good things about this place and many times I have tried to eat at the different brances and order take out. However, many time have me or someone I've been with had allergic reations to their food despite putting in a special request. They shouldn't accept an order if they can not meet the requirements. Allergies are very serious things which require a lot of money and time spent in hospital to solve the issue. Yet time and time again this happens. It's not good enough. They should just simply say that they can not complete the order. In this case rather than spending a night in hospital over a crappy meal a person can choose to go to another place who can meet these requirrements. Terrible. Absolutley terrible.
